I'm learning about expanded tube-tubesheet joints, and am trying to gather some literature on recommended wall reduction values. So far, I've found values listed in API660, and various expansion tool vendor websites (which often don't match).

All of the literature values I've seen are pretty broad (i.e. 6-8% for all stainless and high alloy steels [API660]), and I'm surprised that the recommendations aren't broken out into more grades of steel (i.e. 304ss vs. 2205).

Does anyone have any go-to literature recommendations on tube rolling?

Thank you,

Thank you very much for the links. Does anyone else have any references?

Back in '84, I attended a presentation by John Longhorn, mechanical specialist (M.S.) for Travelers Insurance Company on boiler repairs. His handouts targeted information that you are seeking. I still have a copy of his material and notes of his lecture.I if interested let me know thru this channel of your E-mail and we can discuss arrangements. Additionally, you could try to contact boilers and unfired PV's insurance companies and try to contact their M.S.. Hartford Steam Boiler is one such insurance company specializing in this field.
