Hi,

I wonder is someone works in/remembers entering a large storage warehouse with high bay storage shelves one after the other an circulation space in between.

If someone was in the space in between to rows, are they required to have in sight at all times a directional exit sings?

I'm thinking that if yes, they will need at least one exit sign per row, which is a lot of exit signs. Any tips?

Regards.

Sometimes the local Fire Inspector/Code Enforcement Official, if you're subject to same, will have guidelines/preferences.

Signs reading "Exit" with an arrow indicating the directions, must be placed in every location where the direction of travel to reach the nearest exit is not immediately apparent.
