Excel to Outlook

I am trying to create an appointment in Outlook based on data that is contained in Excel. I have read thread766-161689 which is exactly what I am trying to do however I am getting a run time error 1004 when the code gets to .start = Not quite sure what is causing this. Any help would be appreciative.

Have you referenced the outlook object library?
