Excel "Goal Seek" Not Converging

All of a sudden, "Goal Seek" does not converge to the goal in Excel 2003. It moves farther and farther away.

I have not knowingly changed anything.

I have rebooted in an attempt to fix with no luck.

Any ideas?

User functions, MAX, MIN and any other function that has restraints, limits, asymtotic outputs and the like can cause goal seek to diverge.

Step through a couple of iterations manually.

Did you change the initial guess?
