My company has been dealing with this problem for as long as I have been here. Anytime and anywhere that we install ETABS, whether it be on an existing machine or a brand new one, anytime anyone opens the help file, an Internet Explorer Script Error is thrown. Someone has tried to take this up with CSI in the past and we were just kind of given the run around.
It shows the error as being:
Line: 204
Character: 5
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0
It shows this when navigating to several pages within help, but not all of them.
I've used a piece of software to decompile the chm file into its htm and image files, but beyond that, I can't seem to find the problem. Has anyone else encountered/fixed this?
