I am unable to download your model file.
Can you upload it again, preferably text file of the model (.$ET)?

It seems that there is some problem. Most probably, your files are not being uploaded properly.

Check yourself, whether you can download both of your uploaded files, from your post. Do it, after signing out. If you are able to download both of your files successfully, further check the data they contain.

In my case, both of your files are of 0 kb size. Moreover, text file ($ET.) does not contain any data.

try to export ur model to e2k file and them import it again. i think it will work

I am unable to download my uploaded files. There is no problem i think. But I can be able to download others uploaded files. can anybody advise on this please.

It means that your file is not being uploaded properly.

After making sure that your file download system is working properly (may be checked by downloading one or two files, attached by others with their posts, and viewing their contents), you may try the following to resolve this issue:

1. Prepare a SAMPLE text file, containing only a few words or one sentence and save it.

2. Upload the SAMPLE text file, in a new post, carefully following the upload procedure. You might need to find and have a look, on guidelines for uploading the files to the forum.

3. Preview the post.

4. From the file link (visible in your post preview), download the uploaded file in a location, other than it was uploaded from.

5. If your file is downloaded AND contains the same data, as was in the uploaded file, you have succeeded in uploading the SAMPLE file.

6. Now, repeating the steps 2-5 carefully, try to upload your ACTUAL model file. The upload time however might be considerably more this time, due to considerably larger size of model text file (EDB file will be even larger)

My observations and suggestions are as under:

a. Running of your full model takes a very long time. In fact, I was unable to run it fully, as i was short of time.

b. Checking of your full model (using 'Analayze -> Check model...'), Results in some warning messages, available in my first attachment.

c. I ran a reduced (3-story) model, by removing top three floors. A number of warning messages, indicating structural instability were displayed during this run. These are available in second file (which is a part of actual LOG file.)

d. Make sure, you have sufficient free space on the disk, you are running analysis on.In addition, you should have sufficient RAM as well.

IMO, you need to check your model in detail, and address all the warning messages in the two attachments. These messages, in general, indicate presence of some free joints or inadequate supports, and non-availability of a proper load path.

It would be better, if you work in a step-by-step fashion, by taking a test model (consisting of one or two floors at a time). Debug the test model, and run it to make sure it is working properly.
