ETABS - Ease of Use 1

Changes to a design model, such as shear wall location, were time consuming to make in earlier versions of ETABS. How does the current version of ETABS fair in this regard? Are changes made as the design process progresses easy and quick to make?

Since Version 7 Etabs has been a gui program with an interface similar to other CSI software, SAP2000 and Safe, I don't think you can find it easier than it but it is lacking some things. For now you have to assign the pier section manually (don't know why) but other than that the program works wonderfully.

Much easier than in version 6. A lot of changes can be accomplished with 'reshape' tool which allows for moving objects/points within one, simmilar or all floors. This tool
works OK in most cases (there are occasional problems as with many features of CSI soft).
