The company I work for are hit with high Argon costs every year for welding done in the Fabrication Shop .
We use the Argon for backing gases and on the torches the welders use. My question is we have found that if we change to nitrogeon as a purge gas for the welder it works out cheaper. If we do this and all the WPQ have argon as a backing or purge would we have to run a new WPQ for the change of backing gas.
