Hello everyone,

I'm building a die casting model and I encountered this problem:
The part has 2 fillets connected (pink and blue). The blue one is cut down by a pad, previously it was a normal R=1 mm fillet.

When I try to remove the two faces I get an error message. (attached below) When I want to delete one after another with 2 remove faces I still get the error.

Is this because the hole intersects with the fillet? Or because the smaller fillet was trimmed by another feature?

You have two adjacent fillets. Without a surface between the two. Catia doesn't know how to connect the two stepped surfaces.
I would try the remove on the smaller fillet. Then apply a draft (reflect type) with the large fillet selected.
May need to tweak the angle value to get what you want. You should now be able to do a remove the large fillet.

In the meantime I realized that two parallel planes can't be connected.
I changed the fillet to 0,5mm on the base model and removed the upper small fillet (which would be cut down anyways) so I got two perpendicular planes and remove face wasn't a problem anymore.
