Hi all
I tried to open one of my part files and it gives me a incident report which says: " ERROR - Problem reading document-Load operation failed and ERROR-Corrupted part document: features are missing in filename.CATpart (including mechanical part)".
I really dont' understand this and if I can't recover the file it will be hell of a job to be redone.
Thx for all in advance.
FBM.

try to clean the file with the CATDUAV5 utility

If you copied the file into the new folder instead of using Save Management within Catia, it could cause this problem. I have seen this on files copied from and NFS mounted Unix drive to the local PC drive.

I tried cleaning the file using CATDUAV5 utility but still it doesn't work.
Ahbugaye,
You are correct. I was making a rib feature (infact I have a big truss part with many ribs and other features) and it gave me error so I thought I will first save it as a another file in another directory which as u said would have caused the problem. But is there anyway to get it back.

Thx for all ur responses.
