Does anyone have the errata to
"Design of Structures and Foundations for Vibrating Machines" Shuresh Arya et. al.

I have the second printing of the book (1981). I didn't know there were errata. What edition or printing is your book? I'd also like to see errata if there are some.

I saw a mention of errata in an add for a second hand copy. Can't find the ad now.
Did you know current price is $250.00 second hand?

I'm trying to work through the example in Table 6-3 but get different answers to the text

I got different answers than were in the book as well. I have a very old spreadsheet that does the calculations. It's not well documented and has never been peer reviewed. If there's a way to get it to you, you're welcome a copy to do with it what you will.

I'll try to post it on my web page and if I succeed, I'll post a link here.

I contacted one of the authors about the errata. Here's his reply



Thanks for your e-mail. Unfortunately, I have not been involved in the book for many years and the other two authors are deceased. I faintly recall that there are some errors in the numbers of some examples. You may want to go through the calculations and make the appropriate corrections. As far as I know, the procedures are OK but I can’t offer further information.
