What do you guys use to make sketches such as free body diagrams, etc.? Other than Autocad or crummy MS Paint...preferably something that has drawing symbols such as c.g. and stuff like that

Thanks

Really depends on what you want the drawing to do; some other choices: Visio, Smartsketch

I'm mostly looking for something that you can make simple 2D sketches for structural engineering such as free bodies, beam cross sections, etc.

Don't necessarily need an interactive drawing that is slaved to Mathcad numbers..

I'll look at Visio

thanks for the info
