Hi everyone,

Can anyone shed light on the figure of Engineer of Record in Ontario? I searched on the PEO website and couldn't find anything with that title or referring to that.
If there is such figure/title in Ontario can you guys point me to some references where I can read a bit more about it?

Thank you all

M.

Interesting info BA, do you know by any chance if there is something more recent?

I can see a real problem with that... to me, the EOR has to see the project through to completion.

Mixtli,
Sorry, I don't know of anything more recent.

Dik:

The EOR can withdraw from the project with cause by writing a letter to the local jurisdiction, depending on the jurisdiction.

Usually has to do with non-payment of design fees, but can be some other reason.

Been there. Done that.
