Hello, I am looking for recognised standards where I can find limitations to the plants locations in USA and EUROPE.

In particular I would like to know if a Regasification Plant can be situated, near a town, near a football stadium, near a rail road, near a Nuclear Power Plant, near an existing chemical facility and near a refinery.

Is there any standard about the previous matter for peak saving Plants?

Is there any standard about the previous matter for propaned air plants?

Is there any standard about the previous matter for power plants?

Thank you very much in advance.

Check with your local LEPC and emergency manager (civil defence)
they will have the answers for you

Thank you sbi, but I am not selecting any location and what I need is to begin to learn about this matter and to know the general rules steming from safety distances. I am sure that Local Emergency Comitee will be contacted if USA location are selected but unfortunately i am not in this point.
