I have 5 SS and 1 FRP tank, and all of them are sharing common dike. All the tanks are indoor and materials are non flammable.
All the tanks have conservative vent designed for pump in/out and thermal effect. It is not designed for emergency vent.
I was planning to provide Emergency vent on all the SS tanks in case of external fire. However, I am not sure if FRP tank would require emergency vent. I thought that FRP tank will rupture at high temperature for external fire and emergency vent is not required.
Is my understading correct?
