You can download a JIC Electrical Symbols libray add on pack for AutoCad 2000 at Mrplc.com

Scroll down to:
AutoCad 2000 JIC Electrical Symbols Menu Add-On 1.0

Hope that helps!

Suggestion: It may pay to shop around since there are some differences between those software. Some of them can generate circuits "automatically", e.g. ladder diagram, etc.

I know for sure PSPICE is free and encouraged to copy this software. Search for PSPICE on the internet, use google maybe.

Promis e is a really good add on for Autocad. I think that it is pretty expensive: around $5k.

Student version of PSpice is the way to go and it is free as Driven suggested. This is the premiere electronics package used for simulations with schematic generation.

If its an electrical design software you need, not electronic try eplan. Have a look at the site You can select the english site ok and then select your country, as they are in 49 countries. They have a package called EPLAN 5 Compact that may be of interest.
