eigen frequency analysis in Ansys

Hello
I have to perform a Modal Analysis on a structure made of
3D-BEAM, SHELL and MASS21 elements. I could successfully model the
structure using all these elements. But the problem i am facing is when i
run the simulation to find the eigenfrequency, my Beam element alone is
deforming but not the shell,and vice versa. The eigenfrequency remains the same with
or without shell elements. I even tried giving "NUMMRG, ALL", but it
doesnt seem to merge specifically in Modal analysis. I tried the same
structure with shells for a Static Analysis, there it behaves perfectly
as it is supposed to behave ie, the shell and beams are intact and deformation occurs in both beam and shell. I
dont know why it doesnt so in Modal analysis ie, the beam remains stationary where as shell alone deforms as if there is no contact between them . The possible beam- shell
combinations i tried with were Beam4 & Shear panel 28, Beam189 & Shell93, Beam4 & Shell63. Also tried searching in google , but could get no solution.


Boundary conditions: fixed support at all four corners of the cube's face. Mass21 elements at all nodes.

Somebody please help
