Effect of radius/thickness ratio for SHELL99 elements

Can anyone answer the following...

What is the effect of the radius/thickness ratio on the results when modelling with SHELL99 elements?

shell 99 works for thin and moderately thick shells so as the ration of thckness to radius increases error also increases in the results
