ECTR Yucks with revisions

Anyone using ECTR out there and have experience with revisions?
In other words, Right click on a part and make new "version".

Is there a better way?

I've been using ECTR for 2+ years, what exactly is the issue ?

NX 9.0.3.4
NX 10 (Testing)
Windows 7 64 (Windows 8.1 Tablet)

Not using ECTR, but there is a similar function available from the menu (SAP PLM) in NX
