Good morning,
In doing my research, I have seen that although the preferred orientation of eccentric reducers is FOT for pump suction piping, in applications that handle slurry service, the preferred orientation is FOB to avoid slug flow. Steam service was another that I saw with preferred orientation FOB.
My question is, are there any other applications or services where the eccentric reducer would be preferred with FOB in pump or compressor suction piping?
Thanks,
