I am looking for a company who has an automatic means of installing E-clips and Snap rings. The shaft is approx 1/4" and the clip/ring will be on the end of the shaft.
By automatic means I am talking about the operator loading the clips in a hopper or bowl feeder and not having to handle them again.

you might try Dzus fasteners

Steve:

I've built a little machine to perform a very similar function. Takes a an E-ring, automatically spreads it, places it over a shaft and snaps it closed over the shaft.

Can send pics

We may have you build another one or two. Our product is still in the design stage so we are trying to come up an efficient way of assembling it. Things don't always go together as good on the shop floor as they do on the prints!

Thanks.

Steve: Check your email. I've sent the pics.
