Is there a way to set the mouse wheel and button to pan and zoom on the screen for draft mode the same way as in modeling mode?

Hi,

no, I don't think it's possible. But you can use Alt+Z to enter
zoom mode (ESC will exit) and then have a look at the status bar
it will tell you what's assigned to what mouse button

It's not the best, but it certainly helps!

Much appreciated!

Why don't you use the Ctrl and Shift key with the right mouse button, Once you're used to it, it's very useful

... and has one advantage: works in all environments

I tried the Ctrl and Shift key with all the buttons on my mouse, but it doesn't seem to work on my system. I'm using v15, could that be the reason?

I'm able to use Ctrl and Shift with the mouse wheel in the other environments and I'm comfortable with it. Is there a setting for Draft that I'm not aware of?

Hi,

yes, that will be the case. It works in V16 and up

Oh well, I'll make do with the way it is.

Thanks to all for your help!

what buttons do you hold down to zoom?

If you can afford it, or can persuade your employer, get a Spaceball - they work in all environments.
