This is for a centrifuge rotating assembly used in the oil field. I know the static load & rpm of the assembly, motor hp & belt tension & the 'product' weight within the centrifuge at any given time. How do I calculate the resultant dynamic load, in order to choose the appropriate bearings at the fixed & floating ends? Is there a method to determine the theoretical axial loads?
