Any comments on its ease of use and utility ?

The basic package, dfdc seems moderately easy to use, in a rather Matlab/DOS sort of way, and certainly /looks/ credible. I haven't back checked any designs yet to see if it is accurate. It wouldn't take long to write an Excel based geometry generator to create the text files if hand editing is too painful.

One thing to note is that if you enter an altitude of -1 you get water instead of air, however, I haven't had any luck getting a good run with water.

The associated GUI (whirlwind?) looks nice but I haven't really managed to do anything with it at all.

Cheers
