Hello,
Has anybody else out there had the excrutiating pleasure of trying to derive what the ISO requirements are for rural fire ponds? Especially, how the "50-yr drought level" is established/measured. i'd love to start a dialog on this thread if anyone has gone through this yet.

Forgive me. i didn't see much activity by CEs on the ISO forum, so i posted here.

The 50 year drought period, I believe, is figured as a ratio from the drop in the water table. If the water table drops 2 feet, the pond level should drop approximately 6 inches. I am not sure if .25 is the correct ratio, but I believe it is close.
