Good Afternoon,
First time posting on this site, I figured I have gotten a ton of help by just reading the forum, that I might as well post one to see what I can get. I am a relatively new laser operator especially since we got the new 2KW Fiber laser. I have done a good amount of work dialing in parameters for CRS and SS but the Al parameters aren't where I would like them to be. My boss is telling me that he has gone to laser shops where they do not have any deburring equipment and that they get there Aluminum perfect with a good edge quality and tiny brittle dross or no dross at all. I've played with the parameters long enough that now I'm just spinning my wheels.
Is there anyone out there that can help me get some good dross free parameters for aluminum?
