Drawing files not saving properly

Hi everyone!
Every time I save a drawing it won't let me reopen it to edit it. I can only view it in Creo View Express. In this format, the drawing doesn't even print correctly. Does anyone have any insight on this?

What version of Creo/Wildfire are you using?

Are you saving the drawing and model file(s) to the same directory?
Have you set your working directory to that directory?
