Drafting Preferences

Greetings,

I am using a title block for a company we design for. When I dimension something, the dimension (the actual number) only stays in the middle or wherever its initial location is. I am not able to drag it to the left, right, up or down for some reason so that I can position other dimensions around one another and close together. Is there a check box or key to change this?

Preferences -> drafting -> common -> line/arrow -> arrowhead -> workflow -> turn off the "automatic orientation" option.
