Draft angles

Hey ya'll (no I'm not from Texas)



I'm new to molding, especially when it comes to aluminum alloys (6061 T6) Has anyone dealt with the best angle for pealing an aluminum item out of a mold..If so, what's a good angle (or rule of thumb) for modeling the draft angle?

that's correct. The shop guy is knowing his field.

I use minimum 0.5-0.75degree. Depends of lenght or shape

for al u can have the angle in between .5 to 2 degree which depends on the height this we use for brackets
