Does NX 9.0 require additional training if your using NX 8.0?

While there have been a fair number of enhancements in both NX 8.5 and NX 9.0, if you were already a skilled user of NX 8.0, I suspect that if you spent some time reviewing the 'What's New Guides' for NX 8.5 and NX 9.0, that you could figure out pretty much what you need to know. Other than the User Interface changes made in NX 9.0, nothing significant has really been replaced with totally new functions with different workflows, rather most changes were simply enhancements to existing functions and tools.

Like any system of this type, if you keep up with the releases and read the What's New guides, most users whould be able to pick up a new version without formal training. User interface changes are usually the driver for training rather than functional changes.

Training is an investment in you and your productivity to the compnay, not an expense.
