My firm is interesting EPA Net software that is free download. My concern is EPA NET has any software QA verification since my firm concern about that. Does Anyone know how to prove this? Thanks.
"There is no formal technical support for EPANET. An EPANET Users Listserv, established by the University of Guelph in Canada, allows subscribers to ask questions and exchange information. To subscribe, send an e-mail to the University of Guelph; in the body of the e-mail, include the words “subscribe epanet-users” followed by your name."
Test it. Model a system you already know the correct flows and pressures for. Use a fairly small system you have solved by other methods, such as manual calculation or other trusted software. If you don't have such a data set, borrow it from a colleague.
Also, visit the users group forum and browse the questions and answers to see what others have done.
Download EPANet. Print out the Manual. Read it. Run the tutorial.
