Since TEL is very dangeruous suggest you contact Octel for advice. They do take care of TML/TEL units and sludge/mud from these and they can provide you with guidelines when specail attention is needed (and not)
Agree with RogerH its a specialised task , Octel will give advice and assistance, there are a few other commercial folk who specialise in removing it, but its not quick,easy or cheap. I believe there is an API guidline published on the disposal of contaminated tanks and handling residues. .Aybee
once ogain how do I contact them? I KNOW that if there is enough money people will work anywhere. But they require ermits and such.

This isnt Mississipi mud we are talking here asesor this is Baaaad Stuff , full breathing gear and decontaminations, cant even stand down wind of this stuff without risk to life, cancer etc etc
