Hi,
I wondered if it is possible to perform direct mesh generation in workbench 12.0?
I have some external software which creates meshes based on medical image data. It uses a standard solid45 brick element for each voxel in the image and writes an input file for Ansys classic.
I can read it into classic, but wondered if it would be possible to read it into workbench??
Thanks.

Hi

Yes, this is possoble via FE_modeler.
You will need to generate an initial geometry from this mesh to go to mechanical.

Regards
Garry
