DIN or? Buffer Amp

Greetings,

Google is failing as usual, (lately).

I've got a pneumatic cylinder with an internal slide pot for extension length monitoring.

I have an AB PLC analog-IN that is monitoring the cylinder.

The Problem: Hideous nonlinear results. Examining the the various data sheets shows that the cylinder is supposed to only feed into a 1M ohm or higher input. The PLC is spec'd at 200K input impedance.

What I'm hoping to find is a plain old buffer amp in a DIN mount housing so I can drop these things into the existing system between the cylinders and the PLC.

Any ideas?

Phoenix Contact may have something. If nothing else, they sell some empty DIN rail blocks in which you can build simple circuits (for you a non-inverting Op-amp). I have used them for discrete parts (pull-ups, voltage dividers, RC filters).

Sounds good. That was what I was going to do but didn't want to do it, only to have someone say why didn't you just use a XX.X??

if you haven't the time to develop your own solution or would rather spend it doing something more productive? Fairly cheap and an ok company to deal with. They'll pre-configure items before shipping if you know what you need.
