A pressure Vessel (Bulk Storage Tank P=45 PSI)has been designed and fabricated as per ASME Sec VIII Div.1 but in name plate specified with different Code.
What is the best action to be taken for verification of design calculation?

What kind of design calculations are you doing?

You can use unknown variables, right? That would be your worst case scenario. If using unknown variables affects your operating conditions, then you could look into material sampling for stress values.

Are you sure about this? Perhaps it is some registration number. Find out what the stamped information is on the nameplate and if it is reference to a Code or Standard, try to obtain a copy and review it for comparison to ASME Section VIII, Div 1 code requirements.

Design calculations were done as per ASME Section VIII, Div 1 but stamp of the name plate is not ASME,different code.

So what exactly is stamped on the nameplate? Are there no "U", "W", "RT" stamped on the nameplate?

Attaching a picture or a pencil rubbing of the nameplate would help in shedding light to your mysterious vessel.
