Hi,
I have a problem I in expliicit, large def.contacts, hyperelastic material. I ran it in abaqus 6.4-4 and got it to work. Now the same problem, same input file same everything ran it in abaqus 6.5 and it aborts with large distortion of elements. I was wondering why that would happen and if anyone has experienced similar problems?
I was initially simulating the problem in 2D in abaqus 6.4-3 and it did not even begin solving. ABAQUS support at that time had told me that there is some bug in version 6.4-3 thats not letting it solve the problem but something in abaqus 6.4-4 lets it go through. Maybe its similar situation?
