Hi,
I would like to know the difference between EMAT and GWUT for piping inspections. I know that they are both screening tools and the sizing of defects needs to be confirmed but other methods (e.g. UT spot thickness measurements).
What are the differences insofar as:
1. Surface preparation required
2. Range
3. Output (relative thickness or absolute thickness measurements)
4. Setup time to inspect piping
5. Limitations
Thanks
