In ANSA, there are there types of mesh. General mesh, CFD mesh and solid structural mesh. For the solid structural mesh, it is already clear to me. I know CFD mesh is for fluid analysis
But what is the difference between general mesh and CFD mesh when creating a surface mesh on an object?

As far as know CFD mesh algorithms are more focused an the boundary layer an have more options to influence the mesh there.

Let say i only need to mesh only a surface of a part. Theoretically if i use CFD mesh it will not affect anything since surface mesh does not have the wall boundary layer, is that right?
