Hi,

I wish to know the difference between 3D angle and true angle, in Nx.
Last night I measured the angle between two faces in different parts in an assembly.
True angle was 0.00000 degrees
3D angle was 0.000213 degrees
Which is the right angle? Am I missing something here?

Any help appreciated..Thx in adv.

Nx 8.0 on TCE 8, Win 7

3D angle measures the angle between the normal vectors, true angle measures the angle between the tangent vectors. The 2 angles should be related, not sure why you are seeing a discrepancy. Perhaps something to show to GTAC...
