DIANA FEA smeared and discrete cracking

I really need help
and this is the only forum I found that talks about the DIANA FEA program. I want to understand how discrete and smeared cracking works. So I'm making a beam of 100 mm x 50 mm x 10 mm (length x width x thickness) with E= 1,961 N/mm2, v=0.2, Gf=817.22 N/mm2, ft= 0.8 N/mm2 and an ultimate crack opening of 0.08 mm. So that the load versus displacement graph looks like the image marked as "theoretical". So when I use discrete cracking it reproduces the theoretical quite well, but when I want to use the smeared considering h=2 mm, where h is the width of the finite element where the failure will occur, it just doesn't work for me. The discrete cracking model mentions that the beam has a higher load capacity, whether I use linear-fracture energy or linear-ultimate strain. In both cases the failure is considered to occur at the center of the length of the beam.
