I'm going to built an industrial machine.
I've already found some rules for naming components.
Example: 102FU = fuse in path 102 of the wiring diagram.
But for some devices I didn't find anything. Is there a standard for this, or can I choose names as I like?
I still need names for:
Battery (Power Supply)
Battery-Connector
Charging-Contact
Power Amplifier
Selector Switch
Rocker Switch / Toggle Switch
DC/DC-Converter (Power Supply)
Brake
X-Y-Sensor
Transducer
Joystick
Hall-Sensor (Current-Sensor)
Gyroscope
Temperature Switch
E-STOP-Button
Radio-Device

I suggest you check the standards from IEEE. The URl is they most probably will have them. Hope that will help you
