Design philisophies for foundations of utility poles

I'm looking for current design philosophies for foundation work on both full-length anchor bolts and vertical reinforcing cage drilled shaft construction for a utility pole.

and look into the publication section for the AASHTO Guide Specifications for the Design of light standards, luminares, sign supports etc... This is the industry standard for such applications and is relatively cheap.
