Derating of centrifugal slurry pumps

55% (by mass) slurry with solids sg of 3 and fluid sg of 1.2 (overall density of 1800 kg/m3). In determining the ER and HR using the Warman catalogue, can the value of S (solids sg) be reduced by 3/1.2 to reduce the effect of ER / HR?
