what does 5 and 10 imply in the 5p10 ct

5p10 CT
rating indicates accuracy limit factor of CT
P indicates CT should used for protection purpose (i.e. for feeding protective relays.
digits 5 & 10 indicate -- error in secondary o/p will within 5 % evenif current flowing through primary is 10 times rated current

hopr this will satisfy your requiremenrt.

For more information you can read:

- IEEE Std C57.13 (IEEE Standard Requirements for instrument Transformers)

- IEEE Std 242 (IEEE Recomended practice for protection and coordination of industrial and comercial power systems)

Good luck!

Suggestion: 5p10 ct is not ANSI/IEEE categorization of CTs. Check UK and Europe.
