Nov 5, 2007 #1 V vishal bhanusha Guest i want to analyze i beam with simply support constraints, can any body help me on this issue?
Nov 5, 2007 Thread starter #2 P pjw Guest Use beam idealisations and make sure that you only constrain translation at one end only to prevent rigid body motion. If you don't, your deflections won't be as high as large as they should be. Allow rotation at both ends.
