Hello everyone!

How do I define a piece part for the Reuse Library? I have found only one way so far - to simply copy a part into the library folder. In later version of NX we have a 'Part' option as a reusable object type, bit it does not create an actual part - or at least I did not find a way to do that.

Any advice?

The Command "define Re-usable oject" should cover that....
In here you have different options, one of which is a part.

If what you want is the entire part, then placing a copy of the part in the library folder works fine. Now if you want to do something fancy with parameters and such when you add that part to your model, that requires a bit more effort.

Is the name of the entry in the library always a .prt filename, or can we use some attribute to override the filename and be displayed instead of it?
