Dear Experts

I would like to define an orthotropic material, which follows deformation in the axes shown below.

To be more clear, I would like the model to contract in X/-X-direction ,Y/-Y-direction, and not in the Z-direction. How can I do that?

Have you tried using the 'Scale Body' function (use the command finder)? Just set the 'Type' to 'General' and you'll get three independent Scale Factor values for X,Y,Z relative to a selected CSYS.

Dear John,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm working in advanced simualation and the tool you suggested works only in modelling. Do you have any other ideas?

Regards
