Default units of pro/E

Hey there,
I use Pro E wildfire. Most of my works are in metric units (mm, Kg, s). Pro E has a default unit setting as British. For every component I need to go to unit settings and change to my practice. This is quite annoying. Is there a way that I change the default setting of Pro E unit setting? I have admin right and hence it is ok for me to change any file in the installation directory.

I have an another problem as well - I drag some most commonly used button like measure, section model etc. to my tool bar. This lasts only till the session ends and hence I have to repeat every time I start Pro E. How to deal this?
