Hi everybody!

I perform an anvanced nonlinear transient analysis with contact elements. How I give damping to elements? For example I want to force a ball by gravity and throw it to the floor. Well, I can do it, but without damping. How I do it? Also how I can give different damping to the ball and to the floor?

The dialog Load-->Dynamic analysis, don' t work in SOL601.

Sorry for my english.

I 'm modelling a simple impact problem, a ball that impacts to the floor by gravity. But after the impact, the ball makes a HUGE jump...and again...and again...How can avoid that? I must do something to avoid that, something like energy loss or damping the impact...I 'm using SOL601 Nonlinear transient.
Any idea??? Thanks.
