Cyclic constraints

I'm trying to do a static analysis using a cyclic constraint. I can add the constraint with no problem ,but when I try to run the analysis Pro/Mech will not create the mesh and gives me the message "AutoGEM was unable to create a cyclically symmetric mesh". I've gotton the analysis to work in the past on similar geometery, but for some reason the method I was using no longer works. I'm unaware of changing any setting. Does anyone have any ideas?
